Anderson Engineered Flooring

Anderson Engineered FlooringIn many ways, Anderson is the pioneer of engineered flooring and later hardwood technologies. As the first line of engineered flooring, Anderson has since expanded to include solid products and, over the past 15 years, has introduced aluminum oxide finishes, prefinished hand-scraped floors, and luster-lock™ technology high-gloss finishes that improve scratch resistance by six fold.

Anderson presently carries lines of solid and engineered flooring, in addition to manually hand-scraped products. The brand's engineered lines, which can be installed in drier climates, include:

Classic Hickory is a line of 3/8ths of an inch thick by three inches wide, rotary peeled engineered flooring. Available in dark stains, boards can be floated, stapled, or glued directly to concrete.

Hermitage Pecan is a thicker line, with ½ of an inch thick by five inches wide planks with a 2mm veneer. In appearance, planks have hand-rubbed darker stain colors and can be glued and tapped, stapled, or glued directly to concrete.

Northern Maple Plank is a ½ of an inch thick, three inches wide line available in several stains. With a durable wear layer, planks can be stapled or glued.

Oakdale is a line of engineered red oak planks one-half of an inch thick and three inches wide. Boards are glued and tapped, stapled, or glued directly to a subfloor.

Rushmore is a lower-priced, thinner line of engineered red oak flooring. Planks are 3/8ths of an inch thick and three inches wide and come in darker stains. Boards can be stapled, glued, or floated.

Monroe is a wider version of Rushmore, with five-ply construction planks.

Savannah is a line of rotary peeled red oak engineered flooring. Available in random lengths up to 42 inches, planks are ½ of an inch thick and five inches wide and can be glued and tapped or glued directly to a subfloor.

Anderson Engineered FlooringAnderson's engineered hand-scraped lines, most of which can be glued, stapled, or floated, include:

DellaMano is one of the brand's popular hand-scraped engineered lines. Planks of hickory hardwood are hand-scraped and sanded and have visible graining.

Sierra is a line of darker distressed engineered flooring, 3/8ths of an inch thick and five inches wide. Planks all have a low-gloss finish.

Virginia Vintage Hand Scraped Engineered is the premiere line of hand-scraped engineered flooring. As the most successful hand-scraped line to date, Virginia Vintage includes hickory, maple, cherry, red oak, and walnut five or seven inches wide and ½ of an inch thick. This line is ideal for random width floors.

Virginia Vintage Olde Paint has a smoother appearance, mimicking slightly- to heavily-worn painted floors.

Virginia Vintage Crossfire is scraped across the grain and has a subtle, low-gloss finish. Available in maple and designed with beveled edges, planks are five inches wide and up to four feet long.
